Our ministries
Worship commences every Sunday at 9:50am. We sing songs of praise to God and encouragement to each other, we offer prayers to God in Jesus’ name, we read from the Bible and are taught how to live in harmony with God and others, we remember Jesus’ sacrifice in taking the Lord’s Supper and we voluntarily contribute to the Lord’s work in this area.
Bible Knowledge Centres run each Sunday morning and Wednesday night where we study the scriptures together to get a better understanding of God’s will for us. Some Wednesday evenings are devoted to prayers & hymns. Children’s classes are also held on Sundays. On a weekday morning held once each month, several of the ladies meet together for Bible study in one of the member’s home.
Bible Knowledge courses are offered through the mail and by email.
Macquarie School of Biblical Studies is where one of our members, Satish Samuel, is studying to be able to work as a preacher of the Gospel. We, along with several other congregations and individuals contribute to his financial support while he studies.
External Missions are also assisted. This includes the work of David Carr in the Hunter Valley as he spreads the Gospel in that region. We also assist in the teaching and preaching program of a small group of Christians in Windang, a suburb of Wollongong.
Advertising in various forms are used to interest others in knowing more about Jesus and pursuing a relationship with God built solely on God’s will for us as revealed in the Bible.
